Medical research has confirmed that disease occurs through endocrinal readaptation (Seyle) and neurological signaling errors (Whatmore and Kohli). Misalignment of the jaws and teeth automatically creates cervical vertebral, head and shoulder malposturing. Scoliosis, lordosis, and kyphosis, with pelvic rotation and uneven leg length are automatic reciprocal maladjustments. The ensuing dysfunctions result in dysponetic (morbid) electrical (message) firing to the brain resulting in correlative biochemical alteration in these stressed areas.  Longstanding biochemical changes result in disease processes that eventually become irreversible unless the primary distress problem is corrected allowing a reversal of the foregoing processes.

The “Why?” Behind the Logic

The inter-development and intimate relationship of the neural crest and tube derivatives, the brain and nervous systems, the endocrine system, and the dental system is emphasized when we consider that, as the brain develops, some of these neural tube "control derivative" cells grow out of the forebrain to form the four maxillary incisor teeth, the premaxilla, the mid-nose, and half of the pituitary gland. Interestingly, the other half of the "king" pituitary gland forms out of the cells from the dental system.

The neural crest cells produce the balance of the nervous system - the satellite cells, golgi cells, Schwann cells and all sensory receptors; the rest of the hormonal system; and the remaining parts of the dental system, with the exception of the tooth enamel, which is ectodermal in origin.

These three systems are intimately related in origin, and are closely associated throughout life in all bodily functions, in health and in disease.
